Responsibilities:
*Ensure that all samples received in the lab are tested correctly and in a timely manner during assigned shift.
*Ensure that the quality assurance requirements for each chemical measurement are met in accordance with lab procedures.
*Ensure that all lab safety and housekeeping requirements are met and maintained during assigned shift.
*Calibration and standardization of analytical instrumentation analytical processes.
*Maintenance and corrective action of laboratory instruments and equipment as assigned by Lab Manager.
*Issuing approval to the plant of blends, production starts, and bulk loads that do not meet production specifications.

o RCRA Hazardous Waste Management and Reporting
Oversee projects with environmental consultants and/or contractors
Interface with Company X or contract laboratory on necessary sampling for environmental compliance.
Update and maintain compliance with SWP3, SPCC and SLUG plans
Update and maintain Multi Sector General Permit
Maintain current knowledge of environmental regulations related to Company X activities
Propose and manage waste reduction projects
Train plant operations personnel on environmental compliance requirements
SAFETY
Conduct Facility Response Plan Table Top training annually
Maintain Emergency Response Plans for all sites
